HARDIN COUNTY, Texas — A paramedic was arrested on multiple charges.
Lumberton EMS Paramedic Jordan Quillen surrendered to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday after being charged with Sexual Assault, Tampering with Government Documents and Theft by a Public Servant, 6 KFDM reported.
The initial complaint of sexual assault at a private residence was reported to the sheriff’s office by a 24-year-old female victim.
During the investigation, an authorized search of Quillen’s home turned up property belonging to the EMS department, as well as drugs and other narcotics. According to KFDM, Quillen is accused of tampering with documents related to the destruction of expired or unused medication from Lumberton EMS ambulances.
More charges are expected to be filed in the case, KFDM reported.
Quillen was released from custody after posting a $70,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
