NEWARK, Ohio — An EMS provider and another person were seriously injured Wednesday night when a truck hit an ambulance head on, 10TV WBNS reported.
Just after 9, a Madison Township Fire Department ambulance was struck, and a paramedic on board suffered a head injury, the department said. The medic was flown to Grant Medical Center.
Two other crewmembers were transported to an area hospital to be evaluated. On Thursday morning, the department announced on Facebook that all three crew members have been released from the hospital.

The driver of the truck also was flown to Grant. A trooper said the driver had not been wearing a seatbelt, and someone with the fire department said he had been seen driving in the wrong lane before the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
