MADISON, Wis. — A man who slowed down to make way for an ambulance was shot at by the driver behind him.
Wisconsin State Journal reported that the driver slowed down to around 5 mph after spotting an ambulance coming from behind, according to police.
“The driver of a car directly behind him evidently didn’t appreciate the rapid deceleration,” police spokesperson Joel DeSpain said. “He drove quickly around the victim, and as he did, the victim heard a pop.”
The man said he found a bullet hole on the driver’s side of his truck when he got home. He was not injured.
“He called police but wasn’t able to give much of a description other than the suspect’s car was a dark-colored four-door sedan that had three men inside,” DeSpain said. “It all happened very quickly.”
