POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — A crew of EMS providers went out of their way to secure a fallen American flag.
WPDH reported that Mobile Life Support Services Paramedic and U.S. Army Sergeant Dan Rivera and EMT Larry Lawless were on duty when they came across a fallen flag.
The flag, which normally greeted residents and visitors crossing the Mid-Hudson Bridge, had fallen during a snowstorm.
Rivera and Lawless picked up the flag and brought it to the Poughkeepsie Police Department.
