This week’s Photo of the Week comes from Onslow County EMS in North Carolina, which recently began stocking whole blood in its ambulances. Providers can now replace blood volume in patients during the critical early minutes after trauma occurs. Division Head David Grovdahl called the addition a “giant leap forward” for trauma care in the state’s eastern region.
