STEPHENS COUNTY, Ga. — A woman is in the intensive care after reportedly jumping from a moving ambulance, Now Habersham reported.

Stephens County EMS providers were transporting Amber Chambers, 40, in the rig when she suddenly stood up and “jumped out of the rear doors,” Georgia State Patrol Post 7 Commander Donnie told reporters.

The rig was traveling at about 35 mph at the time of the incident. Chambers sustained injuries to her head and ankle, Sadler said.

No charges have been filed.
