NEW YORK — An EMT on a flight from New York City to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, treated a woman who suddenly fainted in the plane’s aisle.
An oxygen mask was placed on the patient, and the EMT stabilized her, the New York Post reported Thursday.
The World Israel News identified Naftoli Schischa, a longtime EMT with the Williamsburg Hatzolah, as the EMT on the plane.
The JetBlue plane continued to its destination without making an emergency landing.
The patient was conscious and talking when the plane landed. EMS providers took the patient to an ambulance.
