Documentary series on NYC EMS providers, trauma doctors debuts on Netflix

‘Emergency NYC’ includes healthcare professionals throughout the city

NEW YORK — “Emergency NYC,” a documentary series featuring EMS providers and trauma doctors in New York, made its debut on Netflix on March 22.

The show is a spinoff of the documentary series “Lenox Hill.”

“Emergency NYC” takes viewers all over the city and includes three doctors from the prior series — Dr. Mirtha Macri, Dr. David Langer and Dr. John Boockvar.

“This docuseries serves as an important window into this growing healthcare crisis in our country, but more importantly shows the amazing work healthcare workers are doing every day in New York City to save the lives of our children,” Pediatric Surgery Director Dr. Jose Prince told Netflix.

The series also includes Flight Nurse Mackenzie Labonte, EMT Vicky Ulloa, Trauma Transport Nurse Donald Darby, Paramedic Kristina McKoy, Hospital Chaplain Mark Daniels, Transplant Surgeon Dr. Elliot Grodstein, Transplant Surgeon Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, Pediatric Trauma Surgeon Dr. Chethan Sathya and Transplant Surgeon Dr. Lewis Teperman.
