Conn. groups release naloxone administration training video in response to opioid crisis

HARTFORD, Conn.— The Connecticut Overdose Response Strategy and others recently released the following training video on naloxone administration for first responders.

The opioid crisis continues to stress EMS resources.

“First responders play a critical role in the crisis,” Peter Canning, paramedic and EMS coordinator for the University of Connecticut’s John Dempsey Hospital, says in the video.
