MORRISTOWN, N.J. — An emergency flight crew filled in for a fallen paramedic and attended a father-daughter dance.

The Daily Record reported that four members of an Atlantic Mobile Health flight team attended a father-daughter dance with 10-year-old Kylie Logan, whose father, paramedic Patrick Logan, died last year of a cardiac arrest.

The four crew members who attended were: Art Samaras, Morgan Troisi, Paul Horsey and Jim McGrath.

The flight crew attended to “watch over” Kylie, dressed in their flight suits.

“We wanted her to know that we will never forget her father, and that she will always have someone to look over her in his absence,” Atlantic Mobile Health Manager Art Samaras said. “We wanted to make sure she felt Pat’s presence.”

Like Kylie, the flight crew also felt a connection to their friend by attending the event.

“To be honest, being there was as much for the four of us that attended as it was for Kylie,” Samaras said. “We all miss Pat.”
