Public safety agencies from all over the country are honoring a former fire chief who was killed at a rally for former President Donald Trump.
Corey Comperatore, a former Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company chief, died on July 13 following an assassination attempt on the former president, the Associated Press reports.
Comperatore died while shielding his loved ones from the bullets, his family said.
