ROCHESTER, Mass. — A 61-year-old Taunton man remained conscious during treatment after becoming impaled on a piece of rebar.
Wareham paramedics were called to scene to assist Rochester first responders. It took more than one hour to extricate the man.
A Life Flight helicopter ambulance flew the victim to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center after he fell 15 feet at a construction site. The accident occurred at the Zero Waste Solutions facility being built at 35 Cranberry Highway.
