BOSTON — Seven people were injured Saturday night when a porch on the third floor of a building in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood collapsed, according to the Boston Fire Department.
The collapse happened at 527 Dudley St. when a large section of the porch broke, causing the seven people who were on the porch to fall about 12 feet down onto the second floor, the fire department wrote on social media a little after 11:30 p.m. Saturday. All were injured and three were taken to a hospital by ambulance.

The collapse happened around 10:30 p.m., according to The Boston Globe. Authorities are still investigating what caused the porch to break.
It is unclear what condition the people who were injured are in as of Sunday. No further information about the collapse has been released.
