During a difficult time for public health, people are using social media to honor EMS providers for their work and sacrifices

EMS Week 2020 kicked off this week, offering a bit of normality to the surreal reality of the global pandemic. The public health crisis has increased awareness of the hard work and sacrifices made by EMS providers, to the point where the meaning of “PPE” and its importance in the industry is now well known by non-medical professionals, and hazard pay is being debated by members of Congress.
