Kim Stanley, CAC

Kim has been with EMS|MC since 2003 and serves as its chief compliance officer. For more than a decade, Kim was employed with Medicare as the EMS policy liaison. Working in conjunction with CMS and various state committees, she developed many key reimbursement policies at both the carrier and Federal levels. As an advocate for EMS providers, she continues to serve on various reimbursement committees and contract advisory groups at the state and national level. Kim is a frequent presenter at EMS conferences and a nationally recognized expert on EMS billing practices, compliance and Medicare policy.

Erica Austin, JD, MHR, CHC, CPHC

Experienced in healthcare law, Erica is an attorney certified by the Compliance Certification Board (CBC) in Healthcare Compliance and Healthcare Privacy Compliance. Erica monitors regulatory updates, enforcement trends, and compliance investigations. Erica offers expertise in tailoring the compliance program to the corporate risk profile, as there is no one-size fits all when it comes to compliance programs.
