About the presenters
Dr. Michael Dailey
Dr. Michael Dailey is the director of prehospital care services & education at Albany Medical Center Hospital and Chief of the Division of Prehospital & Operational Medicine at and an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and EMS at Albany Medical College. He has been involved in EMS for more than 30 years, with provider experience in volunteer suburban EMS, rural volunteer fire service, urban municipal EMS and helicopter EMS. Currently, Dr. Dailey serves New York State as a member of the State Medical & Trauma Advisory Committees and Medical Standards Committee. He is the Regional EMS Medical Director for the Hudson Mohawk Region—REMO, operational medical director for the cities of Albany, Schenectady, Watervliet as well as the Town of Colonie EMS. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, National Association of EMS Physicians, International Association of Chiefs of Police, National Fire Protection EMS Committee and National Association of EMTs.
Michelle Kobayashi, RN, BSN, MSN, MBA
Michelle Kobayashi is the administrative director of Emergency Medical Services at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she is responsible for the hospital’s ambulance, paramedic, ground critical care and air-medical services, as well as the MICCOM communications center and the hospital’s transfer center. As the administrative director of Emergency Community Operations, she partners with Emergency and Trauma Center leaders to oversee the relationship between Hackensack University Medical Center and the many community-based EMS providers in Bergen, Passaic and Hudson County.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA), and the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and a graduate of the American Organization of Nurse Executives Nurse Manager Fellowship program.
Mario Sanchez
Mario Sanchez serves as product manager for ZOLL Data Systems. He has delivered software and data solutions for healthcare at Optum Technology and LabCorp. He is currently product manager for ZOLL Care Exchange, enabling HL7 interoperability for pre-hospital patient care.
