UCLA-Daniel Freeman Paramedic Education Celebrates 35 Years of Excellence

In 1970, the Daniel Freeman Hospital established one of the very first paramedic education programs in the nation. The program later united with the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care to become the UCLA-Daniel Freeman Paramedic Education Program.

For 35 years, the program has been graduating paramedics and making contributions to the field of EMS. The UCLA-Daniel Freeman Paramedic Education Program will celebrate this special milestone during the paramedic graduation ceremony in June 2006.

All program alumni are invited to join in the onsite festivities on Saturday, June 10, 2006 in Inglewood, Calif. For more information, please contact Rosa Calva at 310/572-2073 or rcalva@mednet.ucla.edu.
