It should not surprise any EMT or paramedic working or volunteering in EMS that it is easier to buy a Lego food truck, Lego ice cream truck or Lego veterinarian rescue truck than it is to buy a Lego ambulance. Most of the Lego ambulances, based on browsing Amazon for “Lego ambulance,” are part of fire department and rescue sets.
We are sure the lack of Lego ambulances hasn’t deterred EMS and Lego enthusiasts from building a Lego ambulance and EMS station from a box of the world-famous, all-ages interlocking Lego bricks. Have you tried to build a Lego ambulance on your own?
As there are so few off-the-shelf options for a Lego ambulance, we asked ChatGPT to generate a set of Lego box images for more than 25 EMS stations in the United States. Our collection of Lego EMS stations we wish we could buy and build includes some of the country’s largest cities, like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. We also generated images of Lego EMS stations in other great places like Portland, Salt Lake City and Honolulu.
AI-generated images are far from perfect and if you look closely, you’ll see odd elements, like extra wheels or ambulance designs that don’t adhere to the laws of physics. You’ll also see ambulance color schemes that don’t match the color scheme of the ambulances featured in the city. AI-image generators are also as bad at spelling as your partner and you’ll find as many misspellings as you find in your partner’s ePCR narrative.
What other EMS stations or locations should we add to our virtual collection of Lego EMS stations and ambulance designs? Send us an email.
