Demers Ambulances to display innovative new ambulances at FDIC 2023

BELOEIL, Quebec - Demers Ambulances is heading to Indianapolis, Indiana, April 24-29, 2023. The innovative ambulance manufacturer will display two new ambulances in Booth #5447 alongside partner brands Braun Ambulances, Crestline Coach, and Medix Specialty Vehicles. The booth will be in the Indiana Convention Center; exhibit hall hours are Thursday from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

“We look forward to FDIC each year. It’s the biggest tradeshow we participate in and a great opportunity for us to connect with customers old and new, as well as some of our partners,” says Greg Tucci, Director of US Sales. “This year, we will showcase two models highlighting how innovative, ergonomic, and feature-rich Demers’ ambulances are. We are also introducing our new multiplex electrical system, MMC. We encourage everyone attending to stop by Booth #5447 and discover the Demers difference.”

The two display units include a stock Ford Transit Type II ambulance and a customer MXP 170 Type I ambulance. The Ford Transit is an excellent choice for departments seeking a smaller footprint, better fuel economy (up to 14% in fuel savings), and ease of handling. It features just the right combination of size, space, and power. In addition, the stock unit will debut the new Demers’ multiplex electrical system, MMC

The MXP 170 Type I ambulance that will be on exhibit is from Omaha Fire Department; Demers thanks the department for allowing them to display their new ambulance at the event. The customer unit is one of seven on order and will ensure all first-line units at Omaha Fire Department are Demers. The model is mounted on Ford F-450 gas 4×4 chassis and offers 72” of headroom, double-sealed doors, a split heating and air conditioning system, and more. These options join best-in-class payload capacity, ECOSmart technologies, and other safety-focused features that Demers is known for.

Demers will combine with partner brands Braun Ambulances, Crestline Coach, and Medix Speciality Vehicles to showcase seven new ambulance models. In addition, internal team members from all four brands and sales representatives from their US Dealer Partner Network will be on hand to answer questions, walk visitors through the display units, and more. Some Demers’ dealers planning to attend FDIC 2023 include Crossroads Ambulance Sales and Service, Danko Emergency Equipment Co, Emergency Equipment Professionals, Glick Fire Equipment, Kodiak Emergency Vehicles, Macqueen Emergency Vehicles, North Central Emergency Vehicles, Penn Care, Pomasl Fire Equipment, Inc., and RedSky Emergency Vehicles.

For those seeking to make the most of their time connecting with vendors at FDIC, consider registering for the MATCH! Program. Attendees can pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with exhibitors to discuss their procurement needs. Demers Ambulances is participating in the program and has time slots available on Thursday, April 27th, and Friday, April 28th.
