Braun to display premium new ambulances at FDIC 2023

The mid-point ambulance manufacturer will be in Booth #5447 with partner brands Braun Ambulances, Crestline Coach Ltd, and Medix Specialty Vehicles.

VAN WERT, Ohio – Representatives from Braun Ambulances will be in Indianapolis, Indiana, April 24-29, 2023. Known for their unrivaled craftsmanship, style, and limitless features, Braun will display two customer units at FDIC 2023. They will join partner brands Demers Ambulances, Crestline Coach, and Medix Specialty Vehicles in Booth #5447. Located in the Indiana Convention Center, attendees can visit Thursday from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

“Braun has a long-standing tradition of attending FDIC,” says Vice President of the Commercial Division US, Kerri Walker. “This year, we look forward to showcasing two new Chief XL ambulances designed to meet the unique needs of the departments they were specially made for. While the same model, the trucks highlight the tailored fit, finish, and all-customizable options that set them apart and distinguish Braun from other ambulance manufacturers. We sincerely appreciate North Las Vegas and the York Fire Department for allowing us to display their new ambulances.”

North Las Vegas Fire Department is an existing Braun customer; they have seven Braun ambulances in service and three more on order. Their new Chief XL Type I ambulance is mounted on a Ford F-550 gas 4×2 chassis. It has all the great innovations Braun is known for, such as SolidBody™ Construction, the EZ Glide™ Sliding Door, and more. As a Chief XL, the 169″ length module combines with 72″ of headroom to offer maximum working space and storage inside and out. Serving folks in North Las Vegas, the unit also has a separate roof-mounted 110 AC system and the standard AC module to keep the unit extra cool while it’s at the station waiting for a call. It is a unique addition focused on enhancing patient comfort.

The Chief XL offers 6 chassis options for a Type I or Type III configuration and two-wheel or four-wheel drive. York Fire Department chose a Ford F-550 diesel 4×4 to mount their new ambulance on. York’s new rig includes Braun standards like a lifetime structural warranty, meganite countertops, fully welded cabinetry, and more. However, it has also been personalized to meet the customer’s specific requirements. Some customizations include a center ducted Heat/AC system, backpack harness seating from EVS Ltd, and an OTE climate-controlled cabinet.

Braun will come together with partner brands Demers Ambulances, Crestline Coach, and Medix Speciality Vehicles to showcase seven new ambulance models in total. In addition, internal team members from all four brands and sales representatives from their US Dealer Partner Network will be on hand to answer questions, walk visitors through the display units, and more. Some Braun dealer partners planning to attend FDIC 2023 include Danko Emergency Equipment, Emergency Equipment Professionals, Glick Fire Equipment, Kodiak Emergency Vehicles, North Central Emergency Vehicles, Penn Care, and RedSky Emergency Vehicles.

For those seeking to make the most of their time connecting with vendors at FDIC, consider registering for the MATCH! Program. Attendees can pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with exhibitors to discuss their procurement needs. Braun Ambulances is participating in the program and has time slots available on Thursday, April 27th, and Friday, April 28th.
