Advanced Medical Transport recently unveiled new high-tech ambulances designed with eco-friendly features and a focus on safety.
The vehicle design also coincides with the implementation of a high-performance model of pre-hospital cardiac arrest management. The initiative aligns with a “pit crew” style of delivering patient care, and involves coordinating efforts with dispatch centers, police, firefighters and hospitals to increase cardiac resuscitation rates.
Features include:
- High-output solar panels to reduce engine idle time, save fuel, and lessen carbon emissions
- Four point harnesses and revamped supply accessibility to allow our crews to stay tethered during transport
- Exterior curbside compartments designed to keep crews out of the lanes of traffic on scene
- A motorized step for entering and exiting the vehicle
- LED lighting and intersection clearing and retro-reflective block patterns to increase vehicle visibility
- A dual-tone “Rumbler” siren
- Soft bumpers on corners inside the patient compartment
- Lifepak 15 cardiac monitor and Lucas chest compression systems to work in conjunction with new cardiac care protocols
