POCATELLO, Idaho — A female patient was arrested and charged with felony battery after allegedly striking an EMS crew member in the face, the Idaho State Journal reported.

Bannock County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Diana M. Corcorran, 50, on Thursday at the Portneuf Medical Center.

Deputies and an EMS crew were responding to a report of an overdose. They gave Corcorran naloxone before loading the unconscious woman onto a gurney and into a rig.

An incident report states that the patient woke up during transport and continued trying to fight the EMT and other personnel at the hospital.
