BOCA RATON, Fla. — It’s a rare site to see a man stripped naked in public – but it’s becoming more and more common because of the synthetic drug flakka, doctors and police say.
“I feel sorry for them as much as anything. They just cannot control their own behavior,” said Dr. Scott McFarland, who is the emergency room medical director of Palm Beach Gardens Hospital.
The most recently case was on Saturday afternoon along Spanish River Boulevard in Boca Raton. Police arrested a man who was stripped down and sprinting through the busy intersection.
