Fire, EMS agencies celebrate National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

What’s in a name? From dispatchers to telecommunicators or “headset heroes,” social posts show appreciation for the “first, first responders”

This week was National Public Safety Telecommunicator’s Week, and organizations across the country shared their support and appreciation for the work of what many consider to be the first, first responders.

Through gifts, goody bags, breakfast buffets, signs, taco bars and more, the overall message remained the same: Thank you for all you do.
