VAN WERT, Ohio — Extreme temperatures demand extreme innovation—Demers Ambulances answers the call with its groundbreaking Arctic Range technology, headlining its showcase at FDIC International 2025. From April 10-12, emergency professionals will witness firsthand how the MXP 153 Type I Arctic Range Edition redefines climate control for first responders working in challenging environments. Alongside this temperature-taming powerhouse, Demers will unveil its MXP 170 Type I ambulance, engineered to deliver superior functionality, crew safety, and ergonomic efficiency when every second counts.

“FDIC is the premier fire and emergency services event, and Demers is proud to be back in 2025, showcasing our latest innovations. Our ambulances are built with crews in mind, offering safe, ergonomic, and feature-rich solutions that make the job easier and improve patient care,” said Kris Turner, U.S. Channel Development Director. “This year, we’re highlighting our Arctic Range Package, a game-changer for departments in extreme climates. The package is also available on our MXP 170 and 150 ambulance models. We look forward to showing first responders how Demers continues to improve ambulance design and puts their needs at the forefront.”

The Demers MXP 153 Type I Arctic Range Edition ambulance will be on display courtesy of the Dallas Fire Department and Demers Texas dealer partner Siddons-Martin Emergency Group. This model features the Arctic Range Package, an advanced climate control system for extreme heat conditions. The package includes industry-leading insulation for optimal temperature regulation and ECOSmart technology, significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This innovative technology promotes rapid cooling for a comfortable working environment in high-heat regions.

Additionally, Dallas Fire Department’s MXP 153 is built on a Ford F-450 4×2 Diesel V8 chassis and features a Buckstop Bumper for added durability, Whelen M-Series split emergency lighting for enhanced visibility on the road, and a 360-degree camera, allowing first responders a better view of their surroundings.

Demers will also display an MXP 170 Type I ambulance courtesy of Rockford Fire Department and Demers Illinois dealer partner MacQueen Emergency Solutions. The Demers MXP 170 combines a rugged exterior with top-of-the-line design details. The model blends versatility with a spacious interior thoughtfully engineered with the crew in mind and includes exclusive design features.

Built on a Ford F-550 4×4 Diesel V8 chassis, Rockford Fire Department’s ambulance includes a rooftop mounted condenser for increased HVAC performance, angled cabinetry for a functional, ergonomic design, maximized storage with additional bulkhead and streetside compartments, S3 – SCBA and turnout gear storage, and Whelen M-Series lighting, including a front lightbar and rear traffic advisor, for maximum visibility.

FDIC attendees can explore these cutting-edge ambulances at Booth #5686: Thursday (10am-5:30pm), Friday (9am-5pm), and Saturday (9am-1pm). Departments seeking maximum crew comfort and efficiencies in extreme weather need to experience the Arctic Range technology firsthand.
