ROSEVILLE, Mich. — Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson met a boy who used the CPR skills he learned in one of the actor’s movies to save his drowning brother.
FOX News reported that Jacob O’ Connor, 10, saved his 2-year-old brother’s life when he found him face down in his family’s swimming pool. O’Connor pulled his brother out of the water and began performing CPR and chest compressions based off what he saw Johnson’s character do in the film “San Andreas.”
Johnson shared the story on his Instagram, saying “I’m so amazed and impressed by this little 10-year-old boy’s heroic actions and calm instincts in the middle of that kind of emergency distress. I now need to shake young Jacob’s hand.”

“He’s such a smart kid,” Johnson said in an Instagram video. “I just want to say so proud of you, such an honor meeting this kid. I appreciate you buddy -- thank you. And I speak on behalf of the world: We’re so proud of you.”
