The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians has compiled a list of resources to help agencies stay on top of the latest guidance on COVID-19 response.
In addition to up-to-date guidance from the CDC, including their Interim Guidance for EMS as well as guidelines for evaluating and testing patients with suspected exposure, resources have been compiled from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, the Food & Drug Administration, and more.
To review all available resources and guidance, visit NAEMT.org.
The organization is also seeking feedback from members on the ground so they can share it with federal decision makers.
We recognize that the COVID-19 response has placed added burdens on our agencies and practitioners and created resource challenges. We would like to hear from our members on the challenges you are facing and what innovations your agencies may be implementing to assess, navigate, and treat patients.”
Responses along with any questions can be directed to COVID-19resourceassist@naemt.org.
