PHOENIX — A psychiatric patient jumped out of a moving ambulance, landing on a freeway Monday night.
ABC 15 reported the ambulance was transporting the patient to a hospital, traveling at 75 mph, when the man jumped out and rolled 200 feet.
An off-duty police officer spotted the man on the roadway. The patient was taken to a hospital and was reported in critical condition.
