JACKSON, Miss. — A Mississippi ambulance company is supporting humanitarian efforts in Ukraine with the donation of three ambulances.
Pafford EMS announced the donation of three ambulances to an Atlanta-based humanitarian relief organization called HelpingUkraine.us, WAPT reported.
“These ambulances are needed to get their soldiers off the battlefield to hospital where they can be treated,” Chief Operations Officer Shane Davidson said.
Shipping the ambulances will be coordinated by Friends of Disabled Adults and Children. They are expected to arrive on August 24, in time for Ukraine’s Independence Day.
