ALICE SPRINGS, Australia — An ambulance responding to a job has been heavily damaged after it was rear-ended by a speeding car.
Police believe the ambulance had just seconds before pulled out of the station on Telegraph Tce, Alice Springs when it was struck from behind by a Holden Commodore and pushed into a tree about 11.50pm.
The two paramedics in the ambulance suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital. They are expected to be released this morning.
