NEW YORK — A man having a heart attack died after the ambulance he was riding in was T-boned on a Manhattan street early Sunday, police said.

The 59-year-old victim was being rushed to the hospital when a Dodge Durango driver struck the FDNY EMS ambulance on 10th Ave. and W. 42nd in Hell’s Kitchen about 4:30 a.m., cops said.

Another ambulance soon arrived to take the man to Mount Sinai West Hospital, where he died. It is not yet clear if the crash factored into his death, police said.

The Durango driver and EMS workers suffered minor injuries, police said.

Hours earlier, a Bronx woman died after having an apparent medical episode in her Jeep and crashing into a city bus on a Bronx street Saturday night, cops said.

Nolasca Vargas, 69, was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee east on E. 147th St. in Mott Haven when she failed to brake at a stop sign and struck an MTA bus going south on Third Ave., according to cops.

Medics rushed Vargas to Lincoln Hospital but she could not be saved. She was about a mile from home when she crashed.

The bus was carrying no passengers and its driver, a 45-year-old woman, suffered no injuries, police said.
