WAYNE COUNTY, Pa. — A Commonwealth Health ambulance was involved in a fatal crash that killed one person on Friday.
The ambulance was reportedly responding to a call, according to a bystander, and the crash occurred as a driver was pulling out of a retail parking lot.
The driver of the car, an 89-year-old woman, was killed in the crash.
“I don’t know what the ambulance was responding to, but I do know that they were going on a call and someone was pulling out of the Dollar General and was hit,” Debi Costa, who works at the restaurant that neighbors the crash scene, told WNEP.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
