Ohio ambulance tips over in crash that injures several people

EMS providers were transporting a patient and had the siren on when a car struck the rig, according to state troopers

COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Valley City ambulance tipped onto its side after being hit by a car Thursday night, injuring people in both vehicles, Fox 8 reported.

Just after 8 p.m., EMS providers were transporting a patient and had the siren on when the rig was hit by a Nissan Sentra at the intersection of State Route 252 and State Route 82, state troopers said.

The injured individuals were taken to Southwest General Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The collision is under investigation.
