HARLAN COUNTY, Neb. — A man died and two EMS providers were injured when an SUV crashed into an ambulance on Friday.
Nebraska State Patrol officials said an SUV in the eastbound lane crossed the center line and collided with a westbound Priority Medical Transport ambulance at about 10:20 p.m., according to Kearny Hub.
The driver of the SUV, Colter Bronstad, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the two EMS providers were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. There were no patients in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
