LIMA, Ohio — Three Ohio EMS providers and their patient were injured in an ambulance collision with a semi-truck on Thursday.
The Anna Rescue crew was transporting the patient with lights and sirens activated when the rig was struck by the semi at an intersection, according to WLIO.
Lima Police Department officials said the semi-truck driver had a green light and did not see the ambulance due to buildings near the intersection.
The three crewmembers and patient were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. No citations have been issued but the crash remains under investigation.
