PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Marathon is the region’s largest EMS event, requiring extensive support. 122 EMS providers from 24 agencies managed the event.
EMS personnel responded to 61 service calls and transported 24 patients. EMS teams delivered care on foot, by bicycle, motorcycle, medical cart, medical tent and ambulance.
