Dr. Michael Dailey

Dr. Michael Dailey is the medical director for the Regional Emergency Medical Organization (REMO) in Albany, New York where he leads the Medical Advisory Committee responsible for this region’s progressive EMS protocols. He began his career in volunteer EMS and fire, working in rural and suburban public safety, and was employed by New York City EMS prior to attending Albert Einstein Medical College. Dr. Dailey conducts research on pain management and patient safety, has published on the effects of the prehospital work environment on caregivers in the field. He is active in both the American College of Emergency Physicians and the National Association of EMS Physicians.
Dr. Dailey is also medical director for multiple EMS agencies as well as the Director of Prehospital Care and Education at the Albany Medical College. He is on the editorial advisory board of EMS Magazine, a member of the New York State Medical Advisory Committee and the State Trauma Advisory Committee.
