COLUMBUS, Miss. — A Mississippi man died after his vehicle crashed into an ambulance on Saturday.
John Ford, 59, died from his injuries at the hospital after his car crashed into a Noxubee County ambulance carrying a patient, according to the Clarion Ledger.
“We’re continuing to investigate, but based on what was reported at the scene, the driver had some sort of medical emergency causing him to lose control of his vehicle,” said Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant.
Merchant said no one who was in the ambulance at the time of the crash was injured.
